Just put all the ingredients roughly chopped and within 20 mins you have your soup ready. It can even sauté ginger/garlic/onion if you wish to do that before pouring water( instructions given by the seller in one of the questions n answers posted by someone and also you can refer to a video posted by American Micronic). The blades are sharp to even blend hard vegetables. Reheat function is also handy. Cleaning can be done by a soft sponge with detergent. I wish the company could sell like a cap cover separately on payment basis for the two open socket points on the soup maker. While cleaning under running water, It would have made cleaning a little easier n less fearful. Right now the only thing that scares me is that water droplet should not go into the open socket points on the machine. It serves 4 big mugs / or 6-8 small cups of soup in one go if filled to the max level.Just go for this soup maker.
