I am bringing two GSPs along and have gone through a lot of equipment in the last two years. These are the best on heel leashes yet. Sturdy, thin and lite, and orange so I can find them when I drop them in the field.

I would absolutely not recommend this leash. I have been using this leash as my dedicated 5ft lead and have now had 2 separate incidents resulting in my dog yelping in pain- and left with an avulsion (minor bleeding). This is all a result of the clip this company uses. The clip is a scissor clip, which you can push or press inward to put on or off the leash vs your standard leash clip which you can only push downward vertically to open the clip. With that being said your dog can lay down while on this leash and their weight can push the clip inward- resulting in the clip latching onto them and pinching their skin becoming completely locked onto them- almost like a fish hook effect. There’s no easy way to remove it without causing them even more pain- all while the dog is yelping and flailing all over the place making it even more difficult. I’ve come to learn the standard dog leash clips all use the downward vertical release for a reason. It’s safe and a dogs weight can’t open it. This scissor clip is dangerous. Biothane leashes are great- but this one ain’t it.

Sturdy waterproof leash. Perfect for those foggy morning walks or light drizzle and not having to worry about having a wet leash! Easy to wipe clean, durable, and strong. I love the hook too!

My dog chewed this in under 5 minutes and he’s not typically a chewer. This is garbage and a total waste of money. It had to be thrown out. Probably got about 10 minutes of use out of it.

BEWARE that the latch corrodes quickly! The company claims that the latch is stainless steel, but the spring inside the latch corrodes so that the latch as shown in the picture does not close and your dog can escape and get hit by a car.An Engineer, I contacted the company about the corroded latch flaw, but the company did NOT respond regarding this flaw. Bought 2 leashes and BOTH latches corroded! The company did NOT address this flaw!

I put it on my dog and before we got out the door he had chewed it through and so was off leash.

This leash is not made for chewing dogs!
