It’s super easy to clean, you just dump the litter and wipe down the top or spray it with cleaner and a hose. It doesn’t all the litter to leave the mat. **Q: Will this cat mat work with wood or pellet cat litter?** A: Works great, there like little funnels, as the cat walks away it traps the litter in the holes, every time I clean the box, I pick it up at the open end and dump the litter back in litter box easily. But it also depends on the size of the pellets. The holes are about the size around as the tip of a inks finger. **Q: Do you roll the mat before shipping it or do you fold it?** A: I don’t remember it being rolled or folded. It lays perfectly flat so how it was shipped doesn’t seem to matter. It works really well. **Q: Is it Machine washable? Too many cobflicting answers** A: It’s a silicone material..so you can rinse it. I rooting throw it in the wash. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Purr-fectly Practical: Cat Litter Mat in Grey Exceeds Expectations *by P***L on Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2024* I recently purchased the Cat Litter Mat in Grey, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. She does not take to changes of any type very well. I put it on top of the old mat for a few days for her to get used to it. Then I removed the old one. She tried to step around it some but finally got tired of trying to avoid it. She walks on it now with no problem. This thing is amazing! It traps the litter in the little holes and there is almost zero tracking. I used to have to sweep up litter around the box every day. I'm very happy with this mat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job for the most part *by W***O on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2023* I only wish it was a bit bigger! It has reduced tracking throughout the house but it’s so small that it cannot possibly catch everything. I mean I’ll take any help I can get reducing litter on the floor throughout the house but I just wish it covered larger area because they don’t always go out of the litter box in a straight line. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/356365823-cat-litter-mat-black-trapping-for-litter-box-xl-jumbo](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/356365823-cat-litter-mat-black-trapping-for-litter-box-xl-jumbo) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
