Review: Good Value - These last a few years or summers with light use. Don't hurl it to the ground when you're done using it or it could break. The only reason my last one broke is because they landscapers abused it so the top cracked. I had another go bad because I left it outside when the temp dipped below zero and it the frozen water cracked it. It's not indestructible. so you use common sense and it will last a long time. There are many fun settings for the water when you rotate the turret. It's great for watering the garden, washing the car, or washing stuff outside in the driveway.
Review: Awesome product - Repeat Buyer - AMAZING Customer Service - UPDATE 1/26/2015: Just some follow up comments to put ahead of my original review. I broke my original wand when I stepped on it (it was on the edge of a cinder block and the angle was just right for it to snap). First of all, that was a freak accident, this wand is actually pretty sturdy. Well, I ordered a new wand that day. Now, about two months after I began using the new wand, I noticed a small drip coming from the joint between the valve and the actually wand pipe. It gradually got worse. So, I called Orbit customer service and told them about this. They immediately sent me a new wand... no questions asked. I'm very pleased with them. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just received this item today and I immediately tried it out. I love it. My first two watering wands broke because the spring in the trigger mechanism wore out. With this product, you do not have to deal with a trigger style handle. It's just a simple fire hose style valve. One nice thing I like is that I don't have to squeeze a trigger the whole time I'm watering in order to get a stream of water. All I need to do is open and close a valve. I think this feature would make this wand good for folks who can't grip for a long period of time. The head is adjustable. That's a big deal. I was looking at the more expensive Gardena wand, and its head did not adjust. I think that is what swayed me to this product (plus the Orbit wand was about 15 bucks cheaper). I really can't fuss with twisting and tilting a wand to accommodate the angle I need to water. I need an adjustable head to do that work for me. I will keep updating this review to let you know how durable this wand is. Longevity is, of course, supremely important. I'll keep you posted.

**Q: Regular Users - Months of Use: Still working good? Reliable? Leaks? Other issues?**
A: Worked great for 1 summer & started to leak after storage in winter; leaks profusely at the ratcheting lever, as well as at the connection to hose. I see from other reviewers that this is made for only one season, sadly.

**Q: Can the head be angled 90 degrees upward so that the spray moves perpendicular to the wand, away from the wand?**
A: The head rotates 180°, from 90° (perpendicular to the handle) forward to 90° backwards (also perpendicular to the handle). It does not rotate to spray down towards the handle, i.e. so you can spray down into a hanging basket.

**Q: what are the spray settins?**
A: couldnt remember off the top of my head, but this was on the first comment:We bought this wand for the 36" length (wanted to reach a back tier of plants), but after receiving it we liked it so much as a general-purpose hose attachment that we got a 2nd. The spray patterns are surprisingly great. The "shower" mode is pretty much optimal for quickly and gently watering potted plants -- I don't think you could devise anything better. The "mist" mode puts out a very fine mist, the "jet" mode shoots a narrow beam of water a long distance. The "flat" and "fan" modes put out thin sheets of water which are good for efficiently watering narrow rows of plants. The other modes are "flood", "center", "angle", and "cone". I'm not sure why you would ever need "cone" mode, but "flood" mode is useful if you want to fill a watering can without a lot of commotion, etc.The fireman-type lever is easy and effective -- basically you pull the control yoke to the volume setting you want and then it just holds that level -- simple, and no need to keep squeezing it like a pistol grip.If you use this as a general-purpose hose attachment (like we do) be mindful is that it is indeed 3 feet long, so when you coil up the hose at the end of the day you have this long attachment at the end. We don't mind but something to think about. The other drawback we found is that this thing is an absolute kid-magnet. "Jet" mode is the problem. In full-throttle jet mode you can shoot water onto the roof of a 2-story house, or across the street onto the neighbor's lawn and the wand has a lot of torque in this particular mode. We have had to impose multiple time-outs for unauthorized "watering". This is a fun tool to use.

**Q: Good for Gutters???**
A: Presuming you will be on a ladder it might be difficult to use the longer handle even with the great flexibility of the sprayer. If I were to use on gutters I’d get the shorter unit to be able to get close in to the gutter. You can’t lose as they are the best sprayers I ever used.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow, what a difference this makes!

Ordered this to aid a house sitter in watering the plants while on vacation. This thing works great, goes from a soft gentle mist to a pure jet and every setting in between with a simple twist of the nozzle. The adjustable head is also a great feature that allows easy watering above your head or below your feet. I would have given it 5 stars if the on-off lever was metal and stored in the off position against the body of the device instead of 90-degrees out. Since it is plastic and doesn't store against the body of the unit I can see that it might be easily broken. Other than that is has held up with no problem for a month already with everyday use.
