Not so for running - Have used cycling and running. 100km+ on bike and 35km+ running and I can confirm that these are great for chewing on, on the bike but are not great when running. They are too chewy and hard to digest. I would 100 percent recommend for cycling but not running. Good value for money and really do help increase your carbs and energy in a ride. I'm a massively fan of SIS and especially their Beta Fuel range but I previously exclusively used their powder and gels. However, after a friend offered me one of these chew blocks, its unlikely that I will use gels again in the future. They're easier to eat on the go, you don't get sticky hands from the gel residue and you know you're getting every drop of carbs out of the packet unlike gels which are sometimes tricky to use.
