Review: Hunter Cassius Ceiling Fan – A Great Purchase! - I needed to replace the old ceiling fan in my bedroom and wanted something modern and reliable. Choosing the Hunter Cassius ceiling fan was the right decision. It has a sleek, modern design that blends well with my decor. I went with the matte black finish, and it looks fantastic. The three-blade design adds a stylish, contemporary touch to my room. This was an desertcart Resale purchase, and I was initially concerned about the condition or potential performance issues. However, I’m happy to say it arrived in like-new condition. All components were factory sealed, and I couldn’t tell any difference from a brand-new product—except that I saved a good amount of money by going with desertcart Resale. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the detailed instruction manual. I specifically wanted a fan with an AC motor so I could use my Lutron ceiling fan control switch for smart home integration, and this fan met that need perfectly. Some reviews mentioned low airflow, but I haven’t experienced that issue. According to the specifications, the CFM is 1,288 on low, 2,648 on medium, and 4,031 on high. It definitely moves air! Since I tend to run warm, I’ll likely keep it on high, as I can’t sleep in a hot room. Overall, I highly recommend the Hunter Cassius ceiling fan. It’s stylish, functional, and works great. I also recommend considering desertcart Resale for quality products at a lower price.
Review: This fan is beautiful. - If you look at my review history, you'll see I've had some issues in the past with other fans. And on desertcart, it can be difficult to find fans that are actually cETL/cUL/CSA certified, which is kind of important. This fan is both certified, and fantastic. It's clearly a quality product. It comes with 2 down rods so you can select your preferred height, the instructions are clear and concise, and it makes NO noise whatsoever. My only very minor complaint is that they had the good sense to put all of the screws in different bags with giant symbols on them that they reference in the instructions, but they still mix some together. I'd have preferred more, smaller bags so every single screw in each bag is identical. This is merely a wishlist thing, though. I love this fan. ... words I never thought I'd say in my adult life.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What direction should a ceiling fan spin in summer and winter?**
A: In summer, a ceiling fan should spin counterclockwise to create a cooling breeze. In winter, set your ceiling fan to spin clockwise at a low speed to help circulate warm air, improve comfort, and support energy efficiency.

**Q: How do I choose the right ceiling fan size for my room?**
A: Choose a ceiling fan based on room size - Small rooms (up to 100 sq. ft.): 29–36 inches - Medium rooms (100–300 sq. ft.): 42–52 inches - Large rooms (300+ sq. ft.): 54 inches or larger

**Q: How do you measure a ceiling fan?**
A: Ceiling fans are measured by their blade span (diameter) from tip to tip. For fans with an odd number of blades, measure from the center of the fan to one blade tip and multiply by two to determine the full blade span.

**Q: Do ceiling fans help lower energy costs?**
A: Yes, energy efficient ceiling fans help lower energy costs by improving air circulation. In summer, they allow you to raise your thermostat while maintaining comfort. In winter, they help distribute warm air more evenly throughout the room.

**Q: Where should you use indoor, damp-rated, and wet-rated ceiling fans?**
A: Damp-rated fans: In addition to dry space, can be used in covered outdoor areas like porches or bathrooms with moisture. Wet-rated fans: In addition to dry and damp spaces, can be used in fully exposed outdoor areas like patios or pergolas.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great looking fan!
*by A***T on 13 August 2019*

Very happy with these fans! I was looking a long time for black outdoor fans and finally found these! This fan was significantly cheaper than some of the other fans I was looking at and honestly look a lot better! Has 3 speeds and gives of a great breeze and very quiet! I purchased 18” down rod as well as I have a 10ft ceiling.
