**Q: Can these motors be fully submerged in water?**
A: Once.

**Q: How much current does the motor require? Could it be powered with an arduino or would I need a separate motor controller?**
A: For light loads 1/8-1/4A but can spike to 850mA if you try to stall it. Even at 3V, though the RPM's will be lower these motors have decent amount of torque. Probably best for ~5V applications, at 12V they scream. And likely best with a PWM controller, especially at higher voltages.

**Q: I can see two threaded holes on the same side as the shaft. What are the size of the Screws that fit the holes?**
A: They will be metric.  Most of these little motors use a 2.6 mm screw.

**Q: What’s the best way to make the shaft adhere to the whee I choose? It’s perfectly smooth and I can’t imagine it do anything but spinning in place.**
A: You could grind a bit of a flat along the shaft.  Then a set screw or for light duty, just some glue should drive it.

These looked good, but I had to return them because they were too small and didn't fit for what I needed after all. Seemed like nice motors.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually draws 0.5 A

The seller said these motors draw 0.07 amps. When the arrived I tested it with a 12V power supply and a Fluke 87 multi meter. It draws 0.50 A for about one second on startup and 0.25 A while running (nothing attached to the shaft). When I tried limiting the current to 0.10 A, the motor would not spin. I tried limiting the current to 0.20 A and it would not run until I got it started manually by spinning the shaft with my fingers. So at least in my case, the seller's statement was not true, and if my power supply could only output 0.07 amps the motor would appear to be non-functional (since after all, a DC motor will happily draw current without spinning). The starting current draw will be even higher than 0.50 A if you are using the motor do actually do some work, instead of just spinning the shaft in the air. Make sure your power supply has enough current capability. Most batteries will have enough current capability, but they will drain at least four times faster than the seller would have you expect. In case it is useful to your application, I measured the cylindrical body of the motor is 23.8mm diameter, 30.6mm long. The shaft sticks out 10mm from the front bearing. So the seller means that the shaft is 42mm long including the parts of the shaft which are inside the motor. Most people would refer to the "overall length" as 42mm, and the "shaft length" as 10mm. Lastly, these things are noisy. They are considerably louder than a person talking, but not painfully loud. I give the product 4 stars because the motors are functional and the price is excellent. I took off one star because I am worried someone will buy it on the basis of the seller's incorrect current rating. Hope this helps.
