I towel dry/roughly hairdryer my hair to almost dry, then use this as a finishing tool. It gives me a professionally blow dried appearance with so little effort, leaving hair smooth and glossy, and because it is a thick-handle appliance, I can manage it with my hands comfortably.The head detaches with a simple lock mechanism, but is so secure I didn't appreciate this feature existed until my daughter showed me it.My only slight frustration is it is of a size where I have to choose between packing this or another dress in my holiday case. I blast it with the dryer then spray it with heat protection spray and my drying time has gone from 45 minutes to 10. The pictures are on different days but show the results of this amazing drying at taming the wiry curls! It can softly curl the ends too which is also a bonus, easy to use if a bit noisy on the highest heat setting.
