I was able to fit everyone’s personal items (phones, wallets, etc.), everyone’s clothing/ cover ups, a JBL Charge speaker, and had significant room for more. Although so much could fit inside, the bag was not oversized or bulky in any way. Despite the chutes and rough areas of the water, the items inside stayed completely dry throughout the 5 hour float. They were also easily accessible when needed to. The strap and waterproof feature is easy and clear to maneuver. When I made this purchase, I somehow missed that the bag came with a waterproof phone pouch, so this was an extra bonus/ surprise. Embarrassingly enough, I took the strap from around my neck and dropped my phone in the river. My phone was fully submerged and lost in the river for approximately 6 hours. Thankfully, a kind samaritan went snorkeling that evening and was able to locate my phone in the waterproof pouch, completely unharmed. I cannot recommend this purchase enough. The only “cons” that I have are that the backpack straps connect to the bag by large clip that is essentially placed in the same spot as your shoulders. Therefore carrying the bag on bare shoulders (with your bathing suit only) can be a little uncomfortable. Also, the products would greatly benefit from being able to float themselves (in case someone like me happens to drop them). Regardless, the bag and phone pouch did exactly what they were supposed to do and helped a group of 8 people.
