The Red Ripper is a metal crankbait with a sound chamber that can be fished at any depth. First, you can just cast it out and reel it in.

I ordered this red ripper despite the bad reviews. It fell apart in fewer than 10 casts. The metal loop where the line ties on simply opened up and let go. I have a photo of this as it hangs on my line. Junk. I went to the nemire website and there is no contact information. Figures.
