As far as durability, I've used this for about six months, watch stays on 24/7 apart from charging. This is definitely the most comfortable band I've tested, and the one I adjust the least throughout the day. That said, a counterpoint for durability, this strap is a soft fabric. It doesn't snag on everything, but if you use it in a labor intensive environment it will suffer some damage, and soak up sweat or water; in comparison to a metal or silicone strap. Which I wanted to say was a negative, however I've worn the strap in water and it has dried through use, and unlike silicone or metal water doesn't stay under the strap against your wrist, and can dry. Cleaning isn't as simple as washing it off, if you want a good clean. You may want to soak the strap if it was in saltwater, mud, etc. I was going to give this 4/5 for the durability, but honestly I think the price point and comfort far outweigh that minor issue. I like this strap so much I talked myself in to five stars while writing this! When something like this is priced so economically you can afford a replacement in a year or two, or buy a backup. UPDATE *by J***N on October 10, 2022* Velcro is a game changer for getting accurate HR readings and comfort. I bought this on a whim when my silicone ripoff I bought started dying. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well this works. It gets a little vinegary from daily runs but I just rinse it in the shower, hang it up for an hour, and put it back on. Doesn't dry super fast on my wrist. Here in SoCal, avg. humidity is about 40-50%. Comfortable, easy to use, easy to clean. I'd buy again. A tiny bit pricy for a Velcro strap but if it lasts a long time it'll be worth it. I'll report back when it wears out. Update3/5/25: I recently replaced it as it was getting tougher to clean and one of the Velcro pads was beginning to come off. It had a bit of piling too but for the price and 3 years of ‘wear and forget’ use, I’d say this is the only band I’ll wear daily. Highly recommend.
