I used it for my upper lid eyeliner as I use eye shadow to line my eyes most mornings, but I could also see where the brush would be helpful in lining the lower lid and creating cut crease eye shadow looks. It's much softer than my other pencil brushes, and blends the shadow much better because of it . It's kinder to the skin around the delicate eye skin than most pencil brushes due to the soft quality. It would also be a good brush to use for the outer V or outer 1/3 of the lid application.
