I just pop the SD card out of the camera and into this. Then put this in my computer or Chromebook to transfer files. It's super helpful. No uploading it to a cloud and then having to redownload, just drag and drop. ### ⭐ Doesn't work with my USB hub *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2015* Does not work satisfactorily on my Surface Pro 3 using a Sabrent 4-port hub and it's own power source. Either loses connection within a minute of being connected, or just does not make the connection. As an example, I plugged in the hub's power, and connected this device to the hub. It's been about 10 minutes now and the devices blue light is blinking at me, but no drive connection, no files. Seems to work without a hub, but this is not how I can use this since I need to use my mouse and the SP3 only has a single USB port. ### ⭐ Not a 3.0? I could not see any speed improvement regardless of type of card or the format.
