**Q: Is this for imaginators?**
A: Yes

**Q: Will this portal work with skylanders giants game?**
A: Yes. Portals of Power are backward compatible, which means that the Skylanders Imaginators version of the Portal of Power will work with all Skylanders games that were released before it.

**Q: Do I have to buy the portal owner pack to use it ?**
A: Dont know what the portal pack is.     But you do need the lastest portal to play the newest game and skylanders.     The newest portal will play all Skylanders and all Skylanders that came beforeit however when a new Skylander come out  that portal will no longer work with the new game so as long as you update the portal when a new game comes out you will always be able to play all the Skylander games and Skylanders. If you play a order Skylander game that came out a few years ago that game only play Skylanders built for that game and before it but not the newer Skylanders it won't recognize them in other words a Skylanders game that came out in 2010 will only recognize Skyliners built in 2010 or before but not 2011 or newer Skylanders

Certainly not a Skylanders Imaginators portal and very much a Swap Force portal, otherwise it works like a charm
