Bought it because my kids are super into the Jurassic Park/World franchise. The book is set up broken into the different parts of the theme park, which is fun! And most recipes go with a dinosaur, which appealed to my Dino-loving 5 year old. We have a fair amount of these franchise cookbooks, and I think this is my favorite. It’s the first one that I really feel like I’m getting into the park. I loved that the recipes are very Costa Rican - fits the location - and many are inspired by specific dinosaurs and their diets. We had a full Jurassic world family dinner tonight, and I was so happy with how tasty the recipes are! The pork & pineapple tacos and the stegosaurus corn cakes were delicious. The volcanic hummus and veggie chips were so fun! My kids had a blast and my hubby and I enjoyed the food. This is a super fun cookbook with legit recipes. A pre-made hot dog, in a pre-made bun, with some veggies chopped up as topping doesn’t exactly appeal to my love of cooking. Probably better as a book for parents to ease kids into the kitchen rather than a proper recipe book.
