Review: Good with Peves - While the bento box is a excellent product and very easy to use I do have a few pet peeves, one it that the lid can’t be washed in the dishwasher which would make cleaning easier, and the box is barely two months old and the paint is peeling off. Other than that good product and recommend for lunch prep.

Microwaveable in that it doesn't explode the microwave when you put the metal container in. But I just heated up a can of soup in the container for 9 minutes in the microwave and it's still luke warm. And, as others have said, the top is very difficult to remove, and end up spilling food on yourself or the counter, or at the very least, on your hands. I've had similar frustrations with other Bentgo products. Feels like they have good ideas, but they must not have any actual user testing.

A: I have microwaved mine many times, as the stamp on the bottoms suggests. As long as you don't put in the lid it is fine.

A: You have to pull out the small round button looking thing. Once that’s out then it opens like a normal container

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My new favorite lunch box

I like the fact that this can be used in the microwave. I wanted to get away from reheating stuff in plastic in the microwave when I take lunch to work. Glass is too heavy and fragile. The metal is lighter. It does seem to heat up differently in metal though. But it's just something that you need to learn. It doesn't say on the description, but you shouldn't use this in a microwave over 1000 W. I just reduce the power on the settings and haven't had any issues so far. I can see how it might be a little difficult to open, but that's why I haven't had any leaks so far. Another plus is that metal is so much easier to clean than plastic since plastic is a pain to clean if you have anything oily in there.
