I'd like to use outside for my pool cage doors.** A: The lock is designed for indoor applications and works very well on sliding or pocket doors. It does not appear to have o-ring seals and probably will not hold up in full exposure conditions. **Q: Are the keys to this lock the kind that can be copied? if not, what do I do about getting more keys?** A: The keys can be copied. We have over 100 of these in our store and get new keys for the staff every now and then as they get lost. We use Ace Hardware or Home Depot to make our copies. I have noticed each seller (including big box stores) seems to get batches of 3-4 key numbers in a shipment.
