I had an initial issue because the hard drive I wanted to connect wasn't showing up. However, my issue was a user error and it was not a result of the hardware. I needed to turn on the automatic detection of hard drives and assign a drive letter, after that it was smooth sailing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works, but don't expect paperwork *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2017* You better know what you are doing, because there is no paperwork at all with this product. That being said, it works well. It's limited by a slow USB connection, but you can expect that prior to purchasing. The SATA disk shows up as another drive on your computer. This is a great product for rescuing data from a hard disk from a failed computer.
