They called before shipment explain that only the head is made in Japan, the rest in China because the listing only said Japan. He also gave me the phone number to call in case of problems. Review: Missing part - This is the 2nd time we have ordered these machines. The first time the 2 that we ordered were great. This time one of the machines was missing the needle thread guide pin.
