The 4” square was square but the larger square was not. Still, the two of them were cheaper than the woodpecker 4”. This woodpecker I lucked out and only paid about $80. What I noticed is that not squares are similar but the wood pecker is a little heavier due to the “blade” being twice as thick. I really appreciate this as it can help prevent against accidental damage and I liked a thicker blade for scribing. So, should you go cheaper? Well, you may or may not get square pieces.
