Our facilities have additional quality certifications like NASC and APHIS. **Q: How many chews do I give my dog?** A: We suggest to begin with half the suggested amount, and gradually increase to the suggested daily amount. Amounts can be split between AM and PM. Up to 25lbs = 1 Chew, 26-75lbs = 2 Chews, Over 75lbs = 3 Chews. **Q: Is garlic safe for my dog?** A: Yes! In limited amounts, garlic is safe for your dog to ingest. Our chews contain garlic within the safe limit for dogs to help ward off pests. **Q: How long will your supplements take to work?** A: Most customers see a positive response within 30 days of consistent and correct use, though some start seeing a difference in their pet within a few days! It is very important to give the daily recommended amount as instructed on the product label. **Q: Is this product safe to use with other prescription medications?** A: Many of our customers see improvements in their dogs' health but our products are not intended to replace the advice of your veterinarian. You should always consult with your veterinarian before making any changes to a prescribed medication routine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really works! *by on Reviewed in the United States April 9, 2024* We have been using this product for two years now on our dogs, sizes 65 lbs, 27 lbs, and 10 lbs. Though for the little one, we have to cut it into thirds. They all love it, like a treat But most importantly, it works! We have not had a single flea or tick on any of the dogs since we started using it. And our dogs like to spend sunny days outside. Plus, our back yard is fully of trees and shrubs, perfect for ticks. It takes a few weeks to be fully effective. So during that time, we used Earth Animal's topical treatment as an extra layer of protection during the first month. But this year, I started using the chews earlier, to build it up in their bodies, negating the need for the topical solution. This is a great product that keeps my pets and family safe for a great price. Plus, I can feel better about not giving my dogs poison, just to prevent pests. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These really work *by on Reviewed in the United States November 17, 2023* I had to stop giving my dog monthly prescription flea and tick preventative oral meds because he started having seizures. I needed to find a non-pharmaceutical flea and tick preventative so this past spring I decided to give these a try based on the mostly positive reviews. I started giving them to our dog daily in early March, well before flea and tick season in our area as the directions recommend. He weighs 47 lbs so I gave him 2 tablets every day March through October. To my surprise, he never had a flea or tick all spring, summer or fall except after I stopped giving them to him in early November, foolishly thinking tick season was over. Within a week or so of discontinuing them I found several ticks on him so I restarted them and haven't found any more ticks on him within a few days of restarting. The key is that you really have to give them to your dog every single day all season long, starting early in the year. Once you make it part of a routine it's not a big deal. At first my dog wasn't that interested in them but if I leave them in his bowl he always ends up eating them. I never noticed any side effects in my dog--no gassiness, odor, or stomach issues. The tablets have a very strong garlic smell but didn't make my dog smell like garlic or anything.Giving my dog two tablets per month it ends up costing about the same as the monthly prescription preventatives did.I'll definitely be continuing to give my dog Pet Honesty flea and tick preventative. I highly recommend them to any dog owner looking for an alternative to the pharmaceutical flea and tick prevention products. Just be sure to try not to miss doses and plan to give them to your dog most of the year, if not year-round if you don't have cold winters where you live. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Read this before buying *by on Reviewed in the United States July 6, 2022* My dog was a bit irritated by this and developed some itchy dry patches on her upper body. They went away within 5 days, but it was still a bit scary to live with. The first day, they didn’t really work obviously…..By the 6th day we noticed any fleas that got on her were dead or in the process of dying. You need to be patient for this stuff to actually start working, so that’s just a heads up to anyone who is super impatient. It does take a little over a week to fully immerse in your dogs body. That being said i’m not too sure i would recommend this to anyone….I went to the vet today and the dr kind of laughed at how the main ingredient to repel fleas was garlic. So we now have my dog on a prescription. But if you don’t have $60+ to spend a month on your dogs flea medication, then yes I would recommend this. ## Frequently Bought Together - Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs Supplement - Natural Flea and Tick Chews for Dogs, Oral Pills with No Harsh Chemicals, Natural Way to Enjoy The Outdoors - Bacon (90 Count) - Multivitamin Dog Supplement, Glucosamine chondroitin for Dogs, Probiotics, Omega Fish Oil, Dog Supplements & Vitamins, Vitamins for Skin and Coat Allergies, (Peanut Butter 90 ct) - Dog Allergy & Itch Relief - Advanced Itch Supplement with Probiotics for Dogs - Immune Support & Skin Relief for Seasonal Allergies - Natural Itchy Skin & Paw Relief - (Salmon, 90 Ct) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/346637307-pet-honesty-flea-and-tick-chews-for-dogs-hickory-bacon](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/346637307-pet-honesty-flea-and-tick-chews-for-dogs-hickory-bacon) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
