Glad I bought this in the end, very high quality, easy to install. The wall mount unit this sits in allows for being able to fully turn it left and right to the side without the water feed pipe getting in the way unlike some other brands that don't account for this.Please also not that there is no quick release option when putting away for winter, there are two screws to undo, but it's easy to deal with and means no one is going to quickly steal the thing.

I am really pleased with this hose. I used to leave my old one out because winding it back up was such a pain. This hose is easy to install and I've had no leakages from any on the joints though I did use a wrench (gently) to ensure a tight fit onto the tap. The hose unwinds easily and quickly winds its self back up after using it. I highly recommend it and though it is quite expensive I'm really pleased with how it looks and works

This is the best quality hose I’ve owned! Much much better than Hozelock or B and Q own brand which I’ve had before and found their hoses tend to twist and curl up and prevent water flowing. however this Gardena just works as you want time after time. I used to hate manually winding up the previous hoses which would never seemed possible without removing gardening gloves and then getting your hands wet and muddy from the hose. Now I just release the tension on the Gardena hose and it rewinds neatly into the reels. I can keep my gloves on for this so no muddy wet hands. It was easy enough to put on the wall as long as you can drill the holes and have two good fixings it’s easy to put it on the wall, much easier than assembling Hozelock or B and Q wind up reels. We’ve had it several months now and I wish I had bought it years ago
