Sturdy, that's for sure. The neoprene hose looks really high quality, and all the fail-safe mechanisms are a fantastic add-on. Also easy to note this is one of the only high quality 3L/100 oz bladders I found on Amazon, so kudos to Aquedook for thinking outside the box.I'm going to attempt to return the item, however. I am not sure if mine is defective, but the latching mechanism just will not slide off. That orange bit on the stop, for those of you considering buying, is supposed to slide to the side and allow you full access into the bladder (which is great for cleaning/refilling, unlike most water bladders that have nothing but a small opening, making them especially hard to clean). I've seen reviews that indicate this mechanism is TOUGH, and difficult to operate, but I have tried everything with mine and it simply won't slide off, as if it was pressure sealed.Anyway, hopefully I'll manage to get a refund for it. Otherwise, the product looked amazing, even above my expectations.
