They should answer all of your related questions. **Q: What size rod does it come with? Does this price include the wall controls** A: I received mine with the wall control as well as the remote. According to the description this one will come with both. The remote comes with a holster that can be screwed on the wall anywhere convenient to the user. The wall control will replace your light switch controlling that fixture a small LED light will indicate if the remote is disabled or not which you control with a small button on the wall control. The down tube was 8" (If I remember right). It does not come with multiple down rods but you can order same spec longer rods from other users. I get many compliments on the design of this ceiling fan. **Q: Can you use both wall switch and remote?** A: The wall switch must always be on for the fan to work regardless of whether you are just by turning the fan on or off by the switch or you are using the remote. So yes you can use both but must always have the wall switch on for the remote to work as well. ## Frequently Bought Together - Minka-Aire F844-WH Light Wave 52-Inch Ceiling Fan, White with Remote and Additional Wall Control - DiCUNO B22 to E27 Socket Converter, Socket Adapter, Bayonet to Screw Edison, BC to ES Lamp Base Adapter for LED Bulbs and Incandescent Bulbs and CFL Bulbs-6 Packs - BomKra LED Ceiling Fan with Lights, 30W Ceiling Light and Remote, Timing, 3 Color Dimmable LED, 3 Speeds, Small Electric Fan Lamp for Small Spaces Bedroom Home Office Dormitory (Yellow) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/345729374-minka-aire-f844-wh-light-wave-52-inch-ceiling-fan](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/345729374-minka-aire-f844-wh-light-wave-52-inch-ceiling-fan) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
