Our felt has been dye set, but I still recommend a prewash to remove any excess dye that may be left on the felt especially for dark colors. **Q: Would this felt be suitable for making beaded and embroidered broaches?** A: I purchased this felt to make zipper broaches. They were very successful, however I used two layers together to get the thickness I needed. I found that to work well for me.
