I originally bought some in 2018. Still using them and am now buying more. I'm washing so many more dishes and pots during this pandemic and need extra space for items to dry. They are the first ones I have found that aren't gray. My counters are white, and this blends in nicely. Easy to clean by handwashing or throwing into the dishwasher. Some reviews gave low ratings for the hook and hole in the mat. People were having a really difficult time removing the screw that held the packaging and hook in place. The hook is to allow the mat to hang from store display hooks. The plastic screw can simply be unscrewed to remove it and the hook revealing a hole in the mat. This hole is actually in the raised edge of the mat and not in the bottom of the mat, so no water will leak out onto your counter that collects in the mat...as some reviewers may have thought. You can check the photos that others have posted for details. Overall, they serve their purpose, look great, and can be easily stored away without taking up much room since they lay flat or can be rolled or folded. Two thumbs up from me!

Comes with a hook screwed into a hole (that many others have complained about). If you look at both round parts that secure the hook to a hole, you will see that each has a slot into which you can fit a small screwdriver. Use a small screwdriver to unscrew the hook. You should be able to simply use your fingers to keep the round part opposite the one you are unscrewing with a screwdriver still, but if not, use a second screwdriver to keep it still while you use the first screwdriver to unscrew it.The resulting hole is in a raised portion of the mat, so that water does not spill from the mat onto our counter. And you can use the hole to hang the mat to dry. And if you want, now that you know how to take off the hook, you could simply screw it back on to hang the mat dry

True Rating: 3.5CONS:1) The packaging is insane! There's a plastic "screw" that attaches the cardboard display which took me nearly 5 minutes to remove and I'm pretty sure I ruined a pair of scissors doing it.2) There's a hole designed right into it. WHY?! If you have plans on using this to keep water off of something, it could be a dealbreaker for you. I repurposed the "screw" and put it in the hole & hope that works.3) This is NOT white. It's a transparent "frost". I'm not deducting any stars for this but figured I'd include it for anyone else that might miss that like I did!PROS:1) Silicone2) Perfect size for meI'm using this as a mat to put a pet drinking fountain on top of because one is a messy drinker and the other spends a lot of time playing in the fountain so I want to try to protect my floor.

I've had this mat for several months now, and unlike a one chief complainer, I have absolutely NO problem keeping it clean. Just wash off potential stains like coffee, tea, egg, whatever with a quick rinse and scrub brush. It's as clean as the day I bought it, and we have VERY hard water. It's wonderful to have a cushioned surface on our granite counter to set glasses and porcelain down with out worrying about chipping or scratching. Also great to be able to set a hot pan on it without worry. It's not transparent, but rather translucent, and I can see the marble design through it. But it's definitely more low profile than the grey mats.

Admit I'm not using these as they were intended but couldn't be happier with this product. I use them as drip trays under my potted plants.The measurements are exactly right to set several side by side to cover the top of my cabinet. Had been using clear paint trays which were effective and inexpensive, but looked tacky. These are perfect.

I placed this mat inside an cube storage organizer shelving unit, where I keep all my cleaning supplies. I place my cleaning/scrubbing brushes on it, so that the water trapped in them does not touch the particle board of the shelf. When the mat gets a bit crummy, I just dump it in the dishwasher and it comes out brand new. I recommend. #HappyShopping

These came in a two pack and one was a different shade of white. Other than the one not blending perfectly with my white countertop, I like them! But I expected them to be the same color. So… that doesn’t make sense.

Nice drain mat, clean white color, sanitary and scrubs up well. I keep mine on a folded white dish towel. Love it. Going to get a second one to use as a sink protector upside down, since sink protector options are so limited in white. Fingers crossed.

Wir haben eine Spüle mit gerillter weißer Abtropffläche neben dem Becken, dafür brauche ich die Matte nicht. Dafür ist sie bei Edelstahlspülen oder auch auf der Arbeitsplatte aber sehr gut geeignet, habe ich ausprobiert. Gläser zum Beispiel stehen auf dem Silikon natürlich sicherer und materialschonender. Das relativ dicke Silikon mit höherem Rand außen und eingearbeiteten Rillen ermöglicht ein gutes Ablaufen des Wassers und verhindert natürlich auch, dass der Untergrund durch womöglich kalkhaltiges Wasser in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wird.Ich verwende die Matte mit der Rillenseite nach unten aber nun ständig als Unterlage für die Fressnäpfe. Dort ist die Matte glatt und die Näpfe stehen rutschsicher.Besonders praktisch ist, dass die Abtropfmatte zur Reinigung schnell mit in den Geschirrspüler darf, was sie auch problemlos übersteht.Eingearbeitet ist ein Loch, an dem man sie bei Bedarf auch aufhängen könnte. Doch soviel Platz hat man meist nicht an den Fliesen über der Spüle - und darunter könnte es dann nass werden...Ich bin mit der Qualität und Verarbeitung sowie den Gebrauchseigenschaften sehr zufrieden.

Die Farbe der Matte ist eher Weiß als durchsichtig. Das finde ich ein wenig schade, da durchsichtig sehr hübsch gewesen wäre. Sie ist ein ganz klein wenig sichtdurchlässig.Den Haken habe ich an ihr belassen, da ich sie daran gut aufhängen kann, wenn ich sie nicht nutze. Er bewirkt aber, dass die Matte dann in der letzten Reihe nicht ganz flach aufliegt. Jedoch nicht weiter als die ersten zwei Reihen, danach liegt sie auch mit Haken glatt.So richtig geschickt ist die Anbringung des Hakens aber nicht gelöst.Ich nutze sie am liebsten als Untersteller für Töpfe. Gerade beim Kochen liegt sie neben dem Herd, wenn ich Töpfe auf den Herdplatten tausche.Sie hält die Wärme gut aus und ich bin davon echt begeistert.Zum Abtropfen kann man sie auch nutzen. Bei richtig viel Wasser könnte sie überlaufen, das ist mir aber nie passiert.Meine Gläser stehen sehr stabil auf der Matte - auch die eher schmaleren. Sehr gut. auch Tassen und anderes Geschirr steht gut und sicher. Das Material macht, dass das Geschirr gut haftet.
