Il suffit d'en prendre un peu sur un chiffon en coton (ou une vieille chaussette qui aurait perdu sa jumelle) puis de frotter la chaussure avec. Cela donne un aspect mat à la chaussure. Attendre quelques minutes avant de frotter avec un nouveau chiffon en coton, propre cette fois-ci, afin de faire briller la chaussure. Le rendu est parfait, tient dans le temps et semble bien protéger la chaussure.
