It's NOT bleach, it alters the PH of the water depending on how much you add to the water. So if you have hard water this stuff is wonderful. I soak cleaning rags in my sink with this stuff, some detergent, and hot water. I use a big wooden spoon to stir it around for a couple of minutes and leave them to soak. Takes all the stains out.
