They sent me a replacement and I could instantly tell it sounded better. The new device has been very consistent. It looks like first one I got was defective. Based on my new experience I’m now very happy with the grinder. -Initial Review- Initially I thought this was great, super easy, super quick, but over about a week of use the grind regardless of setting seems to become ultra fine. Performance is very unpredictable and unreliable. This has happened repeatedly, tired cleaning etc. The only way I’ve found to make use of the unit is to set it at the coarsest setting, and by the end of the week when it’s clogging my espresso maker, try cleaning and messing with the grind settings until I can get it to the coarsest and then plan to repeat. Hopefully my unit is defective (I’m contacting the manufacturer), but for now I would not recommend this grinder. I’ll revise if I hear back from Mueller. Review: Good product - After reading many reviews on this product I can say I agree with a few of them. First and foremost the noise level of it is a lot louder then expected, but that is comparing it to my $10 dollar grinder that I am replacing it with. Another notable annoyance is the accumulation of grinds when removing dispenser so many times that collect at the base. In my opinion those are minor nuances compared to what you get in return. I have mine dialed in perfect for my French press, the grinds are consistent compressing the plunger on my press had gotten a lot easier. Since the grounds are consistent I also don’t get as much coffee dust at the bottom of my coffee when finished. I like that it is compact in size yet still has a small hopper. I am about to get about 3 cycles before I have to fill it up again. Because of the consistency and compact size I would recommend this unit. If noise is an issue I may reconsider. ## Features - More Precise Than Blade Grinding - If you've been a coffee lover for years or just started to enjoy this delicious drink, you should know that the best and richest tasting coffee comes from freshly ground coffee beans. The motor has a very clear, quality sound to it even when it's grinding. My issues with the unit are that it doesn't necessarily provide a consistent grind. Even on course settings, the grinder produces a fair amount of finely ground powder. Some coffee grinds tend to leak out after every grind, but you can just put the container back in place over top of them and nobody will see them (if you don't feel like cleaning them up every time. No grinds find their way to the counter top. The bin has a lot of static cling, but you can shake most of the grinds out with the lid on so it's not too terribly messy, but if you're sweeping the rest of the grinds out, you will spill some. Overall, this is a good, budget grinder after two months of daily use. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/343289732-mueller-supergrind-burr-coffee-grinder-electric-with-removable-burr-grinder](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/343289732-mueller-supergrind-burr-coffee-grinder-electric-with-removable-burr-grinder) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
