Then apply your stencil color. **Q: How do you prevent bleeding under the stencil?** A: You can spray the back of your stencil with a spray adhesive that is repositionable before drying. This will work on wood, glass, ceramic, but not on paper. I use that when working on vertical surfaces such as a glass window or a door. After cleaning, your stencil will remain a bit tacky, but storing it on piece of plastic will keep it in good shape for reuse. **Q: Can you use these for cake or pies?** A: I think you can. They are plastic and using powdered sugar as a stencil would work on a cake **Q: Can these be used with texture paste on paper?** A: You can always try. They are so intricate that a bit of patience may be required as your creativity grows. These are the same thickness of my stencils I use texture paste on.
