I mounted it per the instructions and that worked fine for a couple of weeks. Then it got hot - I live in central Florida - and it fell off. I had some very aggressive double side carpet tape and used that - same result. Then super glue - it came and chipped the inside of my wind shield. In the interim I used the suction mount but could not get the cam out of my sight line. I then was going to order a new Rexing flat mount to try with a different glue when I saw this mount. Bought it -mounted it - works perfect - problem solved. Rexing should provide this as an available option or link us to your company. A wonderful innovative solution. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm happy that there was a long screw available *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on 6 August 2018* Does what it is supposed to do, securely hold my Rexing V1 dash cam. Before, the supplied adhesive pad for attachment to the windshield would give away after the hot sun shone on it. Adding hot glue didn't work since the hot temperature of the windshield would soften the glue. The only installation problem was that the screw for the balls clamp was too short. I couldn't tightened the knob without stripping the few threads on the end of the screw. I'm happy that there was a long screw available.
