Although, this particular set seemed a bit, off by a bit. For one, the stitching on the main comforter seemed crooked, in certain areas. Basically, it seemed like it could be smoothed over when, it was actually sewn in a way that it could not. The overall durability seemed to be a factor as well. It seemed to have much lower of a crisp, lifetime. Could it possibly be the blue dye? Not quite sure, couldn't put my finger on it. But it does serve the purpose, and it was good to have a change in color as well. I would recommend opting for a different color. He doesn't have a twin XL bed, but his mattress has a really thick pillow top which makes it really difficult to put a regular twin sheet on it. The sheets in this set, however, fit perfectly. The sheets aren't that soft, but they're okay for the price and my five year old hasn't complained. I really like the comforter.
