Review: This is good! - Ingenious product! I fix a lot of things, and this product is a winner. I’ve repaired the dryer vent connection more times than I can count, and finally I feel like this time it’s going to be a good fix. I can’t yet speak to the durability of this, but the construction seems quite good. It might slip off with vibration, but it’s so easy to push on. Tip : before putting the snap on ring onto your vent hose, first stretch & flatten the hose in the last 1-2”, where the ring will install. That allows things to fit together properly. I didn’t do that the first time, and the pieces wouldn’t quite snap together.

**Q: Is the hose included in the kit?**
A: I only got one of the connectors (the straight one, not the elbow) and no hose. I am returning it and ordering again. The product illustration and other people's answers to this question show that all three parts are supposed to be included.

**Q: Once installed, can the ends be disconnected periodically, like once a year, to clean out lint? If so, do I need new rubber seals each time?**
A: Absolutely, you can just pull it off the duct and clean out the hose and your ducting and put it back on with the same seal.  The seal should stay on the duct and be just fine to reuse.

**Q: The sides of my gas dryer reaches 120f degrees. Can this plastic handle this heat??**
A: Yes, most dryers range from 100 f to 160 f. The plastic melting point is over 300 degrees. The plastic should be fine.

**Q: Would this product work with the xtremepowerus stainless steel tumble cloths dryer compact dryer?**
A: as long as the exhaust duct on the dryer is 4", then there shouldn't be a problem.  Refer to the owner's manual for the dryer to see if there are any special considerations for the exhaust vent.

Ingenious product! I fix a lot of things, and this product is a winner. Tip : before putting the snap on ring onto your vent hose, first stretch & flatten the hose in the last 1-2”, where the ring will install. That allows things to fit together properly. I didn’t do that the first time, and the pieces wouldn’t quite snap together.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good venting system, not always the easiest to install

I got this to avoid a tight bend in the dryer hose. I was able to install an elbow on BOTH ends, with the connections rotated opposite. One end on the dryer, one end on the vent outlet. Some points: *Put the silicone gasket on the dryer and the vent, NOT inside the connector, as one of the videos shows. If you put it on the connector it can get pushed out of place. *This will only work with the cheaper thin dryer hose. The connector fit is too tight for a sturdier hose. That's not too bad, because the connector prevents the hose from getting crimped. *This works perfectly if you have a correctly installed and perfectly round dryer vent. My builder did not get the hole in the brick perfectly round, and as a result, the dryer vent tube is slightly deformed into an oval shape, where it comes through the wall. Because of that, I had a difficult time getting the connector to fit all the way onto the vent tube. However, it's pushed on about 80% as far as it's supposed to be, and fits very tightly. *People who say this falls off or leaves gaps either have a smaller vent system than 4", or they are not installing it correctly. Installed correctly, the connectors fit very tightly and stay put. This is a good option if you have a vent system that can get crimped or has to make a 90 degree turn. It's better to have the turn on the smooth sturdy adapter, than in a dryer vent hose.
