The Sony GS-100 Class-D subwoofer amplifier affords incredible installation flexibility thanks to its compact size and packs quite a punch. GS series amplifiers offer tremendous value including convenience features such as: modern cosmetics, variable cross-overs and singe-side electrical connections to suit almost any application.

Review: Unexpectedly powerful - This is an amazing amplifier. Awesome sound quality and extremely powerful. As I checked, on nearly full gain, as I was using my old experia phone( never set nearly full again with a car output or laptop output), with bass boost adjusted just before clipping, I got a current of 37amps, @14.6volts and rms of over 300watts @4ohms load. I tested it on 2 ohms and current peaked to shocking 58amps@14.4volts, couldn't measure the rms but was definitely around 600watts as It made voice coils of 2 12" subwoofers crazy hot to the point it started stinking,as I increased bass boost to full,never do that. Conclusions: awesome amplifier of you are carefully and knowledgeable about audio equipment. Edit: again tested with a better precision Got easy 360watts@4ohm and working great after about an year of use. Will proivide more info at 2ohms and even 1ohm when i will get more subwoofers which are on the way..... Edit2: more precision getting 360watt rms @4ohms at 1%thd with just 32amps about 90%efficiency Also if gains are set at full blast, 50 volts can be achieved at output.. And yes the voice coils on two jbl1500hi got overheated to an extent where about to smoke.

**Q: What's the range on the Bluetooth capability? I want to mount the amp in the trunk and control it from the front 1969 Olds 442**
A: Thanks for your question. Bluetooth range is typically 10M, about 30 feet, line of sight.

**Q: Can this run at 1 ohm?**
A: Nada only 2ohms but it is efficient. Excellent sound quality beautifully built

**Q: I have a 2019 Elantra with a infinity speaker system will this Sony work fine or do I need to do something special?**
A: I have an '18 elantra that came with the barebones Audio system. Bought an all aftermarket infinity sound system and installed them. I cut the wires going to the speakers and routed them to the amp. Since you have an OEM infinity sound system, you're gonna probably have to get more than one amp. Check how many speakers you have. It's gonna be alot for you to be honest.

**Q: Could i play media via phone without having a radio or receiver?**
A: Absolutely, that is what it was designed for. You can stream Spotify or any other service from your phone directly to the amplifier.
