## Description

Reston Lloyd is pleased to launch their new line of Eurita clay pot cookers. The Eurita brand celebrates the company founder; Rita Bolle, who founded Reston Lloyd five decades ago. Reston Lloyd’s first clay pot cooker was called Schlemmertopf and featured a warm brick oven motif. The new line features not only the brick oven design but comes in large useful sizes. The roaster comes with an unglazed lid which is soaked in water before use. During the cooking process, this absorbed water is released in the form of steam. This steaming method of cooking, will ensure your food is tender as well as infused with all-natural flavors. The bottom section was coated with a glass frit glaze which benefits users with a quick clean up. The lid motif features a baked turkey, vegetables, fish, and loaf of bread. Works the same way as other clay pots like our older versions; Schlemmertopf Hand wash with regular dish soap suggested. Use in a microwave oven or regular oven up to 500°F. Proudly made in Portugal.

Review: Clay Roaster - Nice large clay roasting pot. The glass coating makes it easier to clean, but it does not build up residual grease for the added taste. The lid is a little thin too, so I must be very careful when storing it.

- BENEFITS OF USING CLAY: Cooking with clay offers many benefits that traditional cookware doesn't. Choose to use the steam feature by soaking the lid before use. The steam will give your meat a nice crust while achieving juicier, full flavor meals. Additionally, all moisture is retained throughout the process removing the need to baste! Lid is crafted to allow a little steam to escape therefore the lid is not tightly fitted.
- VERSATILITY: With this purchase, there are endless recipes you can try out! Including turkeys, chickens, stews, casseroles and pretty much anyting that you can fit into it. Think outside the box and try cooking breads, desserts, soups, and appetizers. Use all your favorite recipes in our dish. Just change the cook time on your recipes to accommodate your dish going into a cold oven vs pre-heated. That's it!
- CHEMICAL FREE: Rather than using cookware that could contain PFAS, a known toxic chemical, try our all-natural clay solution. The bottom section is glazed with glass frit lining allowing for easy cleaning. Only the highest levels of clay used which don't contain lead, cadmium, or fillers. All Eurita products are European tested & approved! Microwave and oven safe up to 550 degrees F. Eurita clay roasters are not to be used on grills or stovetops.
- CARE/USE: Soaking the lid before use allows captured water stored in the lid to evaporate and create a blanket of steam. This features is not required and you can use the pot without pre-soaking your lid. Place your filled roaster in the oven before setting your temperature. Place your filled dish to a cold/ or slightly warm oven and then set to your needed temperature. After cooking, be careful to set hot clay pot on a neutral serface like a wooden cutting board or dish towel to avoid temperature shock. After the pot is cooled, hand wash.

**Q: Will the top of turkey brown in this type of oven?**
A: You take the lid off for the last half hour so like with any roasting pan.

**Q: What size Turkey can I fit in this? I do t see it anywhere**
A: I have the same size and it will cook the Turkey

A: I think big enough to cook an 18 pound turkey . I wrapped it for a gift but I believe it would cook that Turkey
