I wasn't sure how well it would preserve/hold my lipstick. After applying the product, I noticed a slight bit of lipstick on the applicator wand. So depending upon how heavy you want the color, length of wear, BEFORE applying this product, I apply my lipstick a little heavier with happy results. The 1st time I wore it and removed my makeup that night, I didn't think to even check my lips. The next morning, I had obvious lipstick remaining. WOW! Now, I make sure to clean and apply chap stick for moisture to my lips at night. I don't feel this product. It quickly dries. It adds no gloss. I will keep it in stock. The second time the product was all together and I figured it would work for keeping my lipstick on for a few hours. It didn't. The lipstick just came off as if this product weren't there. Next time I'll put the money I spent on this towards Stila's Stay All Day lipstick (it does do what the name says) or Chanel's liquid lipsticks which do stay all day too even through lunch.
