There are snaps in the crotch and the shoulders open up at the neck.Softness: I bought these multiple times and this most recently time the texture has changed. Before they were a very soft and thin material. This time felt thicker and rougher almost like a man’s tshirt. Both have felt fine and comfortable but it has not been consistent.Size: my son is a small 6yr old with a very large belly. These fit him perfectly. They do sometimes shrink in the wash if you use heat so I wash on cold and low heat dryer.Color: I got the white which is beautiful when you first get it but it does get dingy over time esp with excessive use.Material: think but not see though.
