I can say that I have used it for a long time now with excellent results; my dogs never had any reactions to it.It has a nice scent and it really cleans. **Q: Has anyone noticed a bad reaction on their pet from the lanolin in this product?** A: I only used it once, because I had a bad reaction to the fragrance. However, I know many people who use it often and have not heard of anyone's dog having a bad reaction. **Q: Can I use this shampoo with the Barkbath machine?** A: Not sure what a Barkbath machine is, but this product is meant to be sprayed on, massaged in and then wiped off. At dog shows you'll see exhibitors using it diluted in small tubs to spot clean dogs. Of course, you can rinse it off rather than wipe. It has very low foaming. But its not a lathering type of shampoo. Its a great product. **Q: Would this product help get dried feces off the legs of an old cat who is not happy about being messed with by humans? Many thanks to you.** A: I only used it on a dog, but it is very easy to use. You could put a little on your hand and rub it in, rather than spraying it on. It is an awesome product. I add a bit of “the Stuff” (also available on Amazon) and spray this during his twice weekly brushings. He can go for 3 months without a bath with this stuff, it keeps his coat nice and white. The part that blew me away is shown in the pictures. It was too late in the night to bathe him after a rigorous play session in the mud. I brought him home, sprayed this, did our regular routine and went to bed with a brown dog. Woke up to a white one. Obviously he still has a bit of browning, but I think one more round will do the trick. This stuff is beyond and incredible and has a nice light smell.
