Would not count on it **Q: Think this would cut pegboard okay? I need to make a vent hole in my bench pegboard.** A: there are better tools, this thing cuts kind of rough. jigsaw? **Q: could you use this to cut wood without dulling it?** A: Absolutely not!! Unless its balser wood!! The teeth on this tool is made to cut drywall that is 3/8 or 1/2 inch thick. Do not attempt to cut wood with this saw. If you need to cut wood of any kind get you a hand saw. That cuts wood. Like handsaw, jigsaw, or even a thin blade bandsaw. **Q: Where can I find a sheath for it?** A: Do a search on Amazon or on Google for "drywall saw sheath" or "jab saw sheath" and you'll find a few choices.
