These Xero "Berry Blast" caffeine toothpicks have quickly become a favorite for a few reasons, and I have been through 5 tubes of them now. First and most importantly is the effect that the toothpick has. I think the description calls it "mouth tingle". To me it feels like an intense mouth vibration. This is great for me because it is a rapid, unmistakable, and strong feedback. As the sensation carries on, there is a mild numbing effect, which isn't enough to make your mouth droop like after a visit to the dentist, but enough to take the edge off a mild toothache. It is by far the strongest physical reaction I've had from an "energy" toothpick. These aren't wet like most of the others I've tried, and I don't know what effect that has on the caffeine, or how much each pick contains. Unfortunately, I am tolerant enough to caffeine that I probably wouldn't consciously be able to tell the difference, but I suspect with how I can substitute these for my regulars that the caffeine is within the ballpark. The feeling they generate is definitely energetic. Second, and what makes these quite a good value despite the high-ish price, is the quality. If you've used any toothpicks before you know that durability is a huge problem in general. This is especially true with most of the wet kind of caffeine picks that I am used to; all of the quality control problems of normal toothpicks compounded by the fact that they have had liquid forced into them under pressure. I don't know exactly what these are made of, but it is 3 times as thick at least compared to average toothpicks, and it is dense and fibrous. These things are absolute beasts. I like to bite on the end of a toothpick, and these can easily go an hour at my normal level. If I go gentle on them, I have had times where I've had to put one aside to take a meal break or something. The durability of these are simply unprecedented in my experience. The longevity of the pick raises the question about the longevity of the chems. In a pleasant surprise, they seem to last just about as long as the pick, and when they start to run down you can bite on the pick to get the goodness that is inside. These are heavy in my regular rotation and they are here to stay. I even ordered one of the non-caffeine flavors this time around to try those out. The containers are kinda hard to pop open, but that's prob better than them opening accidentally & spilling everywhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong flavored, high-quality toothpick, which may or may not have noticeable vitamins and caffeine *by D***N on August 15, 2026* I have the non-energy Xero toothpicks, which I've had a really good experience with, or as much a good experience as one can have with a toothpick. I primarily use toothpicks to curb me from my fixations of having something to chew on, but all of these new, or new to me toothpicks with flavoring are very satisfying. These tickly toothpicks claimed to be infused with caffeine and a variety of vitamins, and there's no way to know whether that is or isn't true. The only thing that I can tell, or could tell, is whether they give you kind of a pick me up or a boost of sorts, like a cup of coffee, and these don't. At least they don't in a way that a strong cup of coffee does, perhaps they do give you a little boost of energy, but nothing severely noticeable. I don't know if it's me, but they seem a bit thicker than the regular toothpicks from this company, which is fine, and the flavors are different, and I'm still trying to figure out which ones I like and dislike, and like more than others etc. I've only gone through the five pack a couple times, maybe a few times, and nothing stood out as distasteful. Keep in mind, these as with all the toothpicks from this company and others like it provide toothpicks with flavors that Bino means are natural in any sense of the word. The sugar is not natural the flavor is not natural, some of the flavors are very strong, so that's something to keep in mind. Doesn't bother me, but I actually like a large glass of Kool-Aid, with more than the advised amount of Kool-Aid in the glass. Perhaps I am the target market for these. The flavor is very strong, but does not last a super long time, especially if you do chew on them. I think, I may be wrong because I don't spend a lot of time reading instructions on toothpicks, or anything related to teeth, but you're supposed to chew to release flavor, which I do, but sometimes I chew constantly. Doing this obviously releases all the flavor, which then just leaves you with a toothpick. The pigs themselves don't splinter or get soggy quickly, but if you like me to chew on them more than what is advised, they will flatten get soggy and perhaps splinter a bit, which combined with the price, which does seem to me a little high for toothpicks, takes a star off. So all in all, strong flavored, long lasting, toothpicks, which can give you something to do with your hands and teeth, and also could work as a tool to assist in curbing your cigarette/vaping addiction which it did for me. I'm going on a few months.
