So then I gave in and looked for the actual Wii brand. These came well-packaged, as advertised, and they work GREAT. We are having so much fun playing our classic games with these, and they arrived on time as promised. Do yourself a favor and don't be cheap. Buy the official Wii classic controllers! I had to buy another classic controller (this time licensed by Nintendo) because the first one I brought, which was a generic, was of low quality and didn't last very long. It plugs into your wii mote--which works then essentially as a wireless remote in that it isn't tethered to the wii console. It will use your wii controller batteries so I guess that is a negative if you do not have a charger for your batteries. Makes playing pac man fun! (which was my first reason for getting it).
