I was taking Sun Warrior Blend Vanilla for years until my stomach was cramping from it I believe from all the GUMS in it. Original flavor is BEST because its the most pure! I always make it in my Vitamix with just water, few frozen fruits, dash of cinnamon, cardamom and fresh ginger for my post workout shake. For my preworkout shake I do protein powder, activated barley powder and some kind of electrolyte powder. It works and tastes really good with LIQUID I.V. HYDRATION MULTIPLIER Lemon lime flavor. It is indeed a little chalky if you only use water but the other reviewers are right, if you add frozen fruits it does help that. You can also use coconut milk or whatever you like. I'm just on a GUM free kick so I usually just use water. I've tried the other flavors and I like this one best because of the simple ingredient list.
