**Q: The description of lamp says 100 watt. When it arrived, there was a sticker on the lamp that said maximum 60 watt bulb or risk of fire. Really?**
A: I have both the table lamp and floor lamp.  The floor lamp had a sticker saying 100 watt max and the table lamp says 60 watt max.

**Q: Does the lamp shade come in one piece or maybe I need to assemble the lamp shade?**
A: Shade is fully assembled, just add to top of lamp.

**Q: What is the size of the base?**
A: Hi- The base on mine measured 7 inches.

**Q: Is the lamp heavy? I want something that feels sturdy and stable. I bought a similar lamp that would tip when you pulled the chain.**
A: it is not heavy, but it is sturdy enough to not move at all when you pull the chain to turn it on and off. The only issue I had with these lamps is that one of the shades is a bit crooked, and believe or not it is a pain in the butt to set it straight.

I've been looking for quite some time for a just-right lamp and this did the trick. It's nice and tall without being too large for my end table and the style has just a touch of mid-century modern but could work with almost any decor. Looks more expensive than it is. One star off because the shade just rests on a 'ledge' under the lightbulb and doesn't fully secure so it can feel wobbly. Not a big deal though as you don't often fiddle with it. Love the chain pull on-off!
