One is shown in the pictures, but it is not specifically listed as being included** A: Yes. The red case is included. Thank you! **Q: Can you limit the fractions to 32nds? I want one too round to a reasonable fraction for quick drill selection.** A: I keep another set that does 64ths for wuickly measuring hex wrenches and drill bits. This caliper is useless if you have an unmarked hex wrench pile and want to quickly find the right one. Math is easy enough, but a pain when you're in a hurry. If you have the data cable, you can use excel on your computer to round to nearest useful fraction. This really is a design flaw in my opinion because you dont use fractions for precision...you would be in decimal mode. You only use fractions for practical stuff like finding the 3/16 or 5/32 drill bit or hex wrench. Nobody is using fractions past 64th in the real world...they almost always move over to decimals after 64ths. **Q: When it's closed, should it read zero? Mine shows a negative** A: If you open the jaws and happen to press the zero button it will measure from that point. If you then close the jaws past the point where you pressed the zero button, it will read in the negative because you went passed that point of zero. Simply close the jaws all the way and press zero again to recalibrate the zero to closed position. **Q: where is this made?** A: This Micrometer Is Manufactured In China, But Don’t Be So Fast To Dis Chinese Made Products… China Has Really Improved Their Game Since All Our Smartphones Come From China, TVs, Meds, Stereos, Computers, Electronics, Auto Parts, etc… Almost Everything Is Manufactured In China And I’ve Had Better Luck With Present Day Chinese Tools Than American Made Sorry To Say… ## Frequently Bought Together - VINCA Digital Caliper, DCLA-1205 12 Inch/300mm, Inch/Millimeter/Fraction Conversion, Stainless Steel, Large LCD Screen - REXBETI Digital Micrometer, Professional Inch/Metric Measuring Tools 0.00005"/0.001 mm Resolution Thickness Gauge, Protective Case with Extra Battery - Digital Caliper, 6 Inch Caliper Tool with Extra Large LCD Screen, Auto-Off Feature, Easy Switch from Inch Metric Fraction, Stainless Steel Vernier Caliper Measuring Tool for DIY/Household --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/33182119-vinca-ip54-grade-digital-caliper-dcla-1205-12-inch-300mm](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/33182119-vinca-ip54-grade-digital-caliper-dcla-1205-12-inch-300mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
