While it works well, the company that made it ceased operations on June 29th, 2018. The software is only available for about seven more months and will never be updated. A real pity, as this product had the potential to be a truly useful running metric/form device. It only works with Apple phones, not android. It is durable (I actually washed mine by accident, and it still worked), and gives great advice and drills to improve your running form. I believe that it could have been a very successful product with proper development, marketing, and management. Sad that this is not to be. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this thing *by P***E on August 11, 2017* So far this thing has been awesome. After playing around with it for a little bit, I used it for real on the 2017 Santa Cruz Wharf to Wharf (10K), and I swear the coaching allowed me to run faster and further than ever before. I am only just getting back into running after a ten year pause, and ten years ago my form sucked. I got away with it because I was ten years younger(!). So there are really three parts to the product.1. The little device that you clip to your waistband. Seems to work perfectly so far. It's small and weighs next to nothing, so you never even know it's there. It comes in a little rubberized holder with the clip and I do wonder how sturdy that is over the long term. Battery life also seems fine. I'm not a marathoner, so I have no idea how well this would hold up over a long run, but I've forgotten to charge it on non running days and it's been fine, so it'll hold charge for at least a few days. The only issues that I've had are a few bluetooth dropouts and app crashes. BUT I'm running iOS 11 public Beta, so I'm guess the problems are Apple related and not Lumo.2. The app. Pretty good. In fact, it seems more stable and snappier than MapMyRun, which tends to get into a funk sometimes. It has mostly the same functionality as apps like MapMyRun and much more because you get the coaching tips. I'm using Apple AirPods (I usually run with only one) and an iPhone 7 with iOS 11 Public Beta installed.3. The coaching tips and videos. I'm really pretty impressed with this. The app analyses your running style and suggests exercises to focus on for improvements. These come with really nice short videos so it's clear what they're recommending. I'm focusing on cadence. ### ⭐⭐ I really enjoyed the device for the two runs I was able ... *by B***N on May 11, 2018* I really enjoyed the device for the two runs I was able to use it for.. It provided real time feedback on my running and had me really focused on improving my cadence.Regrettably though during my second run it fell off my running shorts and I was unable to find it after back tracking.
