The questions I had prior to purchase were quickly answered and they followed up after the purchase to make sure I was satisfied.. Really friendly people to deal with.* The unit is compact, measuring about 6" by 7". The top swivel portion flips up to reveal a 7" screen with two front facing speakers. The lower part of the player has the control panel which includes buttons for volume,stop, source, menu and a button to access setup so that most functions can be accessed without the remote. On the side is usb slot,sd slot, headphone jack ,AV out, AV in, on/off switch and power input for included dc adapter and car adapter.* Setup is easy using remote or panel buttons. The first section on setup includes "power resume" and when this is turned on it will mean that you will return to the same spot after you stop or turn off the player. This function will stay on until turned off in settings. Other items in setup include "language", "audio setup" and "video setup". You simply cursor through the selections to customize.* The picture quality is sharp and well balanced with no imperfections. The stereo sound has decent volume but that of course depends on competing noises. I bought an inexpensive pair of panasonic on-ear headphones,RP-HT21, which work great.* I haven't tried the AV cables or usb/sd formats so I can't comment on these but others have noted these work fine.*one of the main reasons I bought this was to listen to books on CDs and it works great, especially the feature that allows me to pick up where I left off. It show tracks and both time played and remaining. The top portion can be completely closed when listening to a cd to make it compact plus the sound is still quite audible through the case(although I prefer my headphones.).*I've been told that the 7" is the same in terms of features as their 9" and 10" models except for the arrangement of the buttons on the panel.CONCLUSION:This small unit provides a nice video and audio experience and has a lot more features than I thought possible in this price range. Include amazing customer service and it truly becomes a sweet deal that I can totally recommend ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I was looking for!! *by M***9 on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2018* My new car could not have a CD player even installed after factory!To sweeten my long commute, I listen to audiobooks including the Bible, for which I have the entire set of CDs.This was the perfect solution! It's small enough to fit under the seat when not in use (especially when parked), and with the audio jack that I bought elsewhere, it plays through my car speakers using the car's volume control. I chose it for the small size - 6" x 7" x 1.5" and dark color to avoid having it stolen.The DVD/CD player's remote control can operate it even when the screen is closed down, and also without connecting to the car speakers. Although the volume always opens with a default mid-range volume and I have to turn it up every time it has been off, it is quite loud enough to be heard over the traffic noises. It can run on battery, but because it came with the car power plug and it charges its battery when playing plugged in, I use it plugged in whenever possible.Not only that, but at a motel last week, we were able to play our favorite DVD and forego the dumb selection of motel TV channels. We used the included wall plug and red-yellow-white TV connectors to the motel's TV. Unlike playing a DVD through our laptop, the remote let us control the unit from our pillows, so we could pause/play, repeat, fast forward, and turn it off just before falling asleep, again using the TV remote for volume and TV off.I especially like how if it is turned off while playing, upon turning it back on, it has memory and will resume play where it left off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for my toddler *by T***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2019* I bought this mostly for my toddler who has a love for singing movies and the rest of us don't like them as much. I like the ability to turn the screen around which mostly blocks him from messing with the buttons. We also bought this for road trips for him because although we have a built in movie player in the car, he can't see it as he's rear facing and the video screen is behind his head. Super frustrating to him and he pesters his siblings on road trips with nothing to do. This helps so he can watch something. I also bought this for camping trips, we like to watch at least one movie while we're out. Overall a solid set to with all the basics.
