Always test in a small inconspicuous area to determine appropriate application method, achievement of desired results, and to ensure good adhesion. Ensure work area is well-ventilated during application and until surface is dry. Keep children and pets out of the area until the treated surface is dry. Avoid applying product in direct sunlight. Surface temperature should be 50 Ā°Fā€“80 Ā°F (10 Ā°Cā€“27 Ā°C). Surface must be thoroughly clean, dry, and free of any sealers or coatings before application. Application to a dirty or dusty surface will affect adhesion and appearance. High Gloss Finishing Sealer should not be applied to a wet or moist surface. It leaves a shiny finish so I personally would not use on marble. It is more for stone **Q: Can I apply this product to the bathroom floor? Will it make the floor slippery when wet?** A: If you apply to the correct tile it is fine. We used it on foyer floor and kitchen floor. It came out beautiful . . . Not slippery at all. **Q: I have a slate porch outside that is rather large and above all old. The shine has gone years ago. Will this bring shine back?** A: The product works well on slate. If yours is old and hasn't been treated for some time, it will, to a large extent, bring back it's original look and shine. I would not describe it as a high shine though. Using it is a bit of a project. You will need to apply two or three coats, allowing each coating to dry before applying the next one. One coat won't do it. Wear gloves when using since it's a little hard to get it off your hands. Try to get the surface as clean as possible before application. For large areas, I'd use a paint roller designed for rough/semi-rough surfaces.
