I bought these to hang some lightweight LED tape behind my TV (you know, for that smexeh backlighting glow) followed all the usual steps, dusted the area well, cleaned the area with alcohol wipes, let it dry off completely - then applied these "clips" every 3-4 inches. In short, they're garbage. They peel off almost instantly, and seem to have zero adhesion. For science I forcibly held one down for ~5 minutes to see if maybe I was being too hasty, but as soon as I released pressure it fell to my feet.
