Work for me! --July 2021-- - Paid 7 bucks for a six pack of these adapters. I have used 4 so far and all work fine. They fit any old charger cables that are micro USB. I have them on Motorola G cables. the charging cable for a Kindle, and even one from an old Samsung flip phone! They fit well. Snug right up to the other cable/device. I cannot attest to their speed. I usually charge over night or just casually in the evening while doing other things so it doesn't really matter. If speed is important to you, spend more than a buck a piece or just get new USB-C charging cables. Other than that, these allow me to use old cables and were a cheap alternative to immediately buying new chargers! *** Aug 2021, Okay, I noticed at one point the phone actually read, "charging slowly" and when using its own charger cable it read "charging rapidly". (This is plugged in.) And yeah it definitely took longer with the adapter. *** Sept 2021 Upon further review.... You need to "click" these into your device. I have discovered if I casually connect these I may get the "charging slowly" message on my phone. If I take the time to just give it one more push, I clicks in and the message goes away. They can be plugged in facing "up" or "down". The USB micro plugs need to be plugged in facing the correct direction. I think, if you use an adapter, the old cord can get plugged in "upside down" -which would normally be physically impossible. I think that may be when you get the slow charging indicator. Just sayin'. I’ve got a mix of devices—some still on micro USB (like an older speaker and a backup power bank) and newer ones with USB-C. Instead of keeping separate cords around, I just pop one of these onto an old micro USB cable and it instantly works with my newer devices. They feel solid, not flimsy, and the fit is snug enough that they don’t wiggle or fall off in use. Charging speed is decent. They won’t turn your old cable into a true “fast charging” cord, but for regular charging and syncing they’ve been reliable. I tested them on a Pixel and an iPhone 15 Pro, and while the iPhone charged fine, data transfer worked best with Android.
