Local supermarkets have, until recently, only provided plastic food storage containers. This set from desertcart is great; good sizes, good quality materials and workmanship at a very good price. The lids are easy to open and close and easy to wash. Very pleased with the set.

With all the hype around the dangers of microplastics and BPAs from plastic containers, I decided to make the switch to glass food storage containers... I'm so happy that I did... Like many people, I had a cupboard full of plastic containers of varying types and sizes... I've had them for years... Old takeaway containers etc... To be honest, they were a bit grim... so I recycled them all... These new glass ones can go in the microwave, oven and dishwasher... They don't stain and they are more hygienic than plastic... They are airtight and come in a variety of different (convenient) sizes... I like them... They are exceptionally good value for money... I've decided to buy a set for each of my children to set them on a 'plastic free' path too... Recommended
